Q. What does the "Offline/Online sentence at the bottom of the screen in Entrance Control mean?
A. If you are connected to the Managed Access Server, you will notice a sentence at the bottom of the main screen reading "Online." If not, this will read "Offline," indicating the server is down, there is a network problem, or the connection was temporarily interrupted.
At times you may also see a "Waiting for Response" sentence in this area. This indicates that a request (or response) was sent and is waiting for a response before continuing. This may be because the network is slow or the communications have been interrupted. This should never display for more than a few seconds. If it does, the connection is terminated and the system will wait for a new connection.
